It's wonderfully soft, has a beautiful tweed look, and is an all-around fantastic yarn! Perfect for shawls, sweaters, hats, and anything that shouldn't be too heavy. 

As a person with sensitive skin I'd say it's soft enough to be worn next to skin, it blooms amazingly after the first wash.
